- ESPN.com – NFL – Manning Jr. charged with assault – These are our heroes? Guys with so much testosterone that they can’t help but beat the living shit out of a computer geek at Denny’s. Glad to hear that he won’t “let something like this let [him] have a bad start to [his] football career in Chicago”
- Going a Short Way to Make a Point – Or how about these guys (and gals) that drive one block down the street to blame Bush for the high gas prices in front of a gas station sign (USA National Gas Map) while their gas guzzling SUVs idle nearby.
- The Harvard Crimson :: News :: Sophomore’s New Book Contains Passages Strikingly Similar to 2001 Novel – Or the High School girl (now Harvard student) that plagiarized… oops… sorry unintentionally internalized… someone else’s novel.
- The pleasure of finding things out – RP Feynman – Google Video – If you want a hero try this guy. If you gave guys like these $21 million on a three year contract we would see great things.
- Ferrari 275 GTB driven by Formula 1 driver through Paris at 140MPH (video) – Automotoportal.com – Video from a camera strapped to the front of a Ferrari as it races through Paris. The whole time I watched this I wondered how they got away with it. Well apparently they didn’t… the film maker was arrested at the first showing.
- Iomega Announces 1-TB Wireless NAS Box – Ok, I want one of these.
- SketchUp Home – Google has released a 3D drawing program. This application is well suited for creating models of buildings for overlaying onto Google Earth. Add your house to Google Earth!
- The Art of Motion – Google Video – “Claymation” (stop motion animation) using real people. Very cool.
- TV in Japan – My new favorite website. Tons of video clips from Japanese TV. The Japanese have a lot to teach us. Including….
- YouTube – How to put on a Band Aid so it stays on all day.
- YouTube – rip slyme – Speaking of Japan. Last year I returned from my vacation in Japan with these guys songs stuck in my head. Japanese Hip Hop.. who would have thought? “Yahtzee in the Groove, Yahtzee in the Groove.“ “Baby hold on, wait a minute, you can’t take my hot shampoo”
