- Sawstop Table Saw - Check out this table saw, you know the the big monster machines they scare you with in shop class with all the videos of Jimmy getting his finger chopped off. Apparently, when the saw blade contacts flesh it self destructs. The company’s website (sawstop) has a demonstration video on a hot dot and very detailed explanation of how the saw destructs but offers no insight on how the saw detects flesh.
