JellyFish.com
Today I want to tell you about JellyFish.com. JellyFish is probably one of the most unique web sites and web experiences I have seen in a long time. It is one of the few web sites I'm sure to visit everyday... often many times a day. The main part of JellyFish.com is a product search engine. Look for products, find the lowest price from various online retailers and sometimes JellyFish will throw in an extra cash back rebate. Sounds good but the really amazing part of JellyFish is the smack shopping (no, nothing dirty, a smack is a gang of jellyfish).
During the various smack shopping shows (available almost 24/7) products go on sale in a unique reverse auction format. The price starts at normal everyday retail price plus shipping and taxes. If you bought the item right away you would probably get yourself a decent deal... but wait! Yes, that's the point... wait. Because every second that the item is up for sale the price drops. Yes, right before your eyes that 49.95 Wii game becomes $48.45, $45.76, $39.34, $26.47...etc. I know what you are asking "what's the catch?" There is a catch. You don't know how many are for sale. In the off hours there is usually only one. When the price gets low somebody is going to buy it. Are you going to pay $26.47 for that $49.95 game or are you going to be greedy and wait for two more dollars. If you are not fast enough the deal is gone. You'll have to wait for it to come up on JellyFish again. When will that be? Who knows, tomorrow, next month, maybe never. You don't know what is going to come up on JellyFish, you don't know when, and you don't know how many. You just have to catch the great deals as they come. Just today I saw a PS3 60GB go for 30.49% off. Sweet. How about the Sopranos season 6 (part 1) for 50.53% off. Check out the awesome deals we've been getting.
Each smack auction sale take several minutes so you spend a lot of time waiting. But if you're online anyway what's the harm in keeping on tab on JellyFish. In addition between the products they have some mini games. I've seen newbies win $130 on their first day on. I've seen people win in excess of $300. If you have the time and patience JellyFish can lead to some great deals and perhaps some cold hard cash!
If you signup using this link: JellyFish I get some JellyFish props. Please do it! You won't regret it.
