Links of the Week (Week #52, 2005)
- 1-800-FREE-411 - I never understood why mobile phone companies charge so much for 411 service. Isn't $35 a month for a phone I use twice a month enough? FREE-411 is a free 411 service paid for by short directed audio adds. Well worth it in my opinion. This page has a live demo.
- Apple support calls - Clear samples of why I was never interested in working in tech support.
- Basic in your browser - My first programming language was basic on an Atari EX. I think is a nice simeple language to start with. Here you can run it directly form your browser.
- Ruby in your web browser - Do the same for Ruby. I don't yet know what hype is all about but maybe if I fool around with this.
- Safari Compatibility Test - This is very useful. Enter a URL and it returns an image of what that page looks like on the Mac browser.
- wowcoupons - A great source for printable retail coupons.
